    I was also very impressed with how smart oscar was. He controlled the fight with the jab, and didnt open up when there werent oppourtounities. he had mayo hurt a few times and didnt press the action because he knew how wild and unpredictable mayorga can be. He kept his hands up and blocked 99.9% of those wild right hands. Just a perfect fight by Oscar.

      i remember mayorga let trinidad hit him a couple of times without flinching ... Oscar may really have some power on those shots ... WOW!

          I think even at 33 Oscar has at least ONE MORE GREAT FIGHT in him..

          after this fight, now I am looking forward to the PBF fight with some anticipation...

                It was simply a case of Oscar hitting an inferior fighter with a beautiful clean blow. De La Hoya hasn't looked this sharp in a very long time.

                  It's not as simple as that. It was a case of Oscar putting down a man in the FIRST round, who had held his chin out for Tito for EIGHT rounds straight before getting knocked down.

                    Yeah, but Tito's punches aren't as accurate as De La Hoya's. I was really surprised that De La Hoya would punch with such an authority.
