He told everyone all week he was going to make it an ugly fight and street fight and brawl! He did just that!
A few bouts ago he used a double and triple jab to set up his power and everyone was saying his boxing looked really good!
Folks fighters fight differently from fight to fight. Opponents bring different looks and that makes you apply yourself differently each time.
I think this guy is getting older now and I see things that I recognize that conforms my believes.
However when this guy lands guys fall down, corners get real concerned about their fighters and theres been fighters that gave up titles and won't sign contracts!!! Those are truths!!!
Enjoy the guy, he's a fu*&ing walking destroyer and he's fun to watch.
He respects his opponents and he hates judges just like me hahahahaha...
Ray
Cheers Ray! You kept it real.. Golovkins fight against Lemeiux was a total contrast to this.. He did not even wait out and see the 1st round like he usually does.. Brook was slick in moments and after the 1st round Brook came back good but let's face it Golovkin did not stick behind his jab like Lemeiux and wanted Brook to engage in slugfest..Comment

I like Golovkin(even though i don't think he is the GOAT) but seriously, as slow as he is, being methodical would've made him look just as bad, he simply doesnt have the speed to hang with an athlete like Brook at that pace, which is why he kept pressing...if anything he got tagged whenever he waited too much and Brook got off first... Golovkin simply has no speed/explosiveness in his step back and his upper body movement/reflexes are just as slow.....he can get away with the methodical style against unskilled guys with no jab like Lemieux and Stevens and guys who are scared of his power, but Brook wasn't. Brook did a good fight and Golovkin reacted like he could and thankfully for him his chin held up and his power delivered.....all that **** about getting punched for fun just makes him loook like an idiot with a bad excuse...dude won by 5rd KO, no need to even excuse himself. He won with power and is not a defensive wizard....anyone with eyes already knew that.I really don't buy the idea that Brook was outclassing GGG I think it was more a case of GGG wanting to give a show he has shown he can take a calm and collected display to break down an opponent he never at any point did that with Brook.
He threw more and landed more than Brook and he was landing all the more hurtful shots this fight could have been boring If GGG wanted it to be but luckily he never made it that way he paid out on his promise.Comment

I just hope the guys like Canelo, Jacobs think GGG looked weak
He snapped his head back, hardly lifted him off his feet. Stop listening to hater bs.
He didn't avoid either. Neither have tried to fight him. Lara never called.
Ward raised his hand, but said same crap Canelo did, mill do it in 18 months.
Lame!
It's didn't happen. He landed clean, GGG ate it and proceeded like nothing happened. GGG was never once in danger.
And I wonder why Lara hasn't called him yet then.
Lara couldn't get away from Canelo, but he's gunna get away from GGG.
Stop it. Compustat showed Broom at best won one round.
GGG haters grasping at anything and everything.Comment

Compustat shows he out landed Brook in every round but one. But hey, worth a try right. I guess that's a bad night.I like Golovkin(even though i don't think he is the GOAT) but seriously, as slow as he is, being methodical would've made him look just as bad, he simply doesnt have the speed to hang with an athlete like Brook at that pace, which is why he kept pressing, if anything he got tagged whenever the pace slowed and Brook got off first... Maybe GGG had something to do with Kell backing up into the ropes? You think Kell's corner didn't tell him to get off the ropes?of course. lara will be much smarter then brook. brook was suppose to work on circling around golovkin. speed, legs, (he claimed his legs was in the best shape ever) but he didn't circle golovkin once. he backed up went to the ropes and thats when golovkin had him in one place and unloaded. but when it was in the center of the ring golovkin couldn't land or was getting punched in the face. golovkin did almost all of his damage when kell stood still on the ropes.
really think about that.
do you think lara is actually gonna stand in front of golovkin knowing that? haha
lara is looking at 12 whole rounds......not "who has the more power" he could care less.Comment

first lol at you believeing compubox. Second, Golovkin won and relatively easily even though he got hit a lot...he is no defensive wizard and we already knew that. I don't get why people are surprised that he got hit a lot and why he needs to make excuses for it...defense is not why he wins fights. Dude's a nightmare to fight regardless of his leaky defense.Comment
