This is his ONLY performance at MW, we havent seen him even fight a tomato can at 160. Nobody could take his "power"? we have no idea what his power is at 160, we also have no idea how well he takes other MW's shots, who will also have superior power to his own.

That was a brutal fight.

Golovkin really has two versions of himself - the one where he doesn't respect his opponent and relentlessly tries to destroy his opponent quickly, like tonight, and there is the version where he respects his opponent like how he fought Lemeuix or Stevens where he uses his jab, fights smart and is patient with his work. It's all about the opponent. Put him in the ring with a Jacobs or Canelo, we'll get the David Lemeuix version, put him in there with a physically out matched guy, we'll see a street fight.

True he promised that street fight and he gave it all the props to Golovkin he could have made this easier and we know this.

Brook is a good fighter.

But to say he didn't look like he was in trouble is silly, he wasn't throwing and know longer was protecting himself.

Brook said his eye socket was done after round one.

His trainer did the right thing.

If GGG folding a heavier Brook in five is exposed, then what the heck was Khan going six with Canelo.

And what was Brand going 12 with Ward?

Fight told me what we already knew: if you keep G in the middle of the ring and pivot, he is less effective. If you back away instead of pivoting with shots, you will get beat.

G beats Canelo, that much is certain. Canelo isn't anywhere near as fast as Brook is. Canelo stopped inside of 6 rounds.

G definitely beats Saunders. Saunders fights on the backfoot. He'll get KO'd inside of 5 rounds.

G vs. Eubank? That fight really does interest me even more now. I think Chris has a chance. Same with Danny Jacobs.

But I DEFINITELY don't want to see Floyd fight G. It would be a boring 12 rounder with Floyd pulling Matrix-style dodging of punches to gas him down the stretch and tagging G with his lowest punch output ever.
