    About Mayorga

Im a huge fan, and I admit it seems that he didnt even train. He looked terrible from round 1, and his chin just got wtfpwned? What the hell happened? He couldn't take shots, he had no energy, he had no defense. I don't think he trained at all for this fight...and he deserved what he got. Still, this is by far the worst I have ever seen him, he did better against Tito with only 28 days of training and at a higher weight. I don't know what to say....worthless.

I'm really dissappointed in Mayorga, his chance to make a name for himself and he blows it. Obviously no work on defense or straight punches....**** that, I'm done supporting him.

Yeah that was more a great display by Oscar man.

I picked Mayorga to win the fight, but realized shortly thereafter; that I can't call Oscar pillowfisted anymore. He still has the real power, especially when he plants his feet and fights with conviction.

I don't care about his power, Mayorga was awsome at 147, he looks completely different. I don't know what the hell happened to him.

Or how about he's done nothing BUT train for I believe, four or so solid months. Excuses, excuses. He has power and that's it. No discipline or technique what so ever.

He tried to trade with Oscar in the first. Got knocked on his ass. Tried to box with Oscar in the latter rounds, got KTFO. Plain and simple, Oscar schooled him like he schooled Tito and Vargas in the day. He's 33 and still has a lot left in him. My dream would be for him to face Mayweather and if all goes nicely, unify the belts and retire.

Mayorga needs to take a huge lesson from this fight or except the fact he won't last long in the division with such skilled boxers. Nine times out of ten a decent boxer will beat a slugger.

He looked in good shape and he never looked tired like he did in the Trinidad fight. Notice at the beginning of the rounds that when they'd meet int he middle Ricardo's first moves were backing up. I am STUNNED that Oscar's power was too much for him. Just perplexed. One thing though was that Mayorga, who does eat a lot of shots normally, was hit by even more than usual. This fight really surprised me although I think people using it to try to extrapolate that this means FLoyd is getting knocked out by Oscar are going to be overreading this performance. Very impressive though and you have to think Mayorga's PPV days are over for sure

You can disespect a fighter if you want. You disrespect a fighter's loyalty to his race if you want. But you can not disrespect a fighters wife. That fighter can not go home if he dosn't avenge that insult. Mayorga dug his own grave.

Thats bs, you can disrespect anyone, it had nothing to do with him losing. He had no defense, he didn't train, he fought like an idiot.
