Why do the same people who bash GGG for fighting Brook...

...call him a coward and a ducker for not moving up to 175 to fight Ward?

    Middleweight - welterweight = 13 pounds
    Light heavyweight - middleweight = 15 pounds

Andre Ward fought at 178 in the amateurs, photos show he's bigger than the naturally slimmer Kovalev, who had most of his amateur fights at middleweight.

Golovkin fought at light welterweight in the amateurs, and later he moved up to middleweight.

At the 2004 Olympics GGG fought at middleweight, while Ward fought at light heavyweight.

Why do the same people smashing this fight forget Kell Brook has been draining his body and muscle down to reach 147lbs, why do they forget that Brook is easily making 160lbs?

Yes then why ask Golovkin to approach 175lbs when he clearly hasn't outgrown that division pretty dumb.

Ward's moving up to LHWT to fight the killer Kovalev and g string is willing to fight anyone from 154 to 168 except we won't fight Ward at 168 and despite Canelo being our biggest money option, we won't fight him at 155, and we won't fight Lara no matter the weight. Instead we're gonna fight the 3rd or 4th best welterweight.

I don't. I think fighting Brook at MW when Brook hasn't done anything more than 1 decent WW fight is a joke. But, I don't want to see Genady go to 175.

No, Ward is NOT moving up.

He's been fighting at light heavyweight for his past 3 fights. He hasn't fought at super middleweight in THREE YEARS.

He says he not only can't make 168, he has trouble making light heavyweight!

Oracle Arena, Oakland, Calif. - Former super middleweight champion Andre Ward (30-0) dominated Alexander Brand (25-1) over 12 rounds to set up a November 19th HBO pay-per-view showdown against Sergey Kovalev (30-0-1).

It's a racial thing but there's always been 1000 threads about it. If you're living in the slums with self-esteem issues and the one thing you thought you were good at (beating people up) a guy who looks like GGG turns out to be better at you're going into rationalization mode. Human psychology. It's the theme of 90% of the threads on this forum.

                Now for the rest:

                a. Golovkin isn't going to magically become big enough to fight Ward.

                b. The brook fight is still silly. Brook isn't much smaller than GGG but his own resume is so lame it doesn't really solve anything. He will just be deemed another bum.

This is not about GGG moving in 175 or 168. It is about GGG moving OUT of 160. They hope that their favorite fighters camp there once GGG will be out of the division. This is their convoluted way of acknowledging that he is too good.

cute insecurities by a champ troll. you start off by acknowledging it's a "race" thing then you go into personal stories from your life about how your parents made cookies for that Eminem kid that stood for you when an ethnic group of thugs stole your bike? that's about 1 out of 10,000 fantasies I can think of regarding yo insecure mind, "you trick ass btch po pimp playa!" -Lil'G
