Comments Thread For: Abel Sanchez: Absolutely NO Truth To Golovkin Being Sick!
Abel Sanchez, trainer of IBF/IBO/WBA/WBC middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs), has denied rumors that his boxer is sick and/or physically drained.
Ha. Maybe he woulda done better to say Golovkin was sick - more credit if he wins and a ready made excuse if he loses. Everybody thinks Abel's full of it anyway so it's win - win.
Bookies might sue his ass off though - has that ever happened?
This sort of augments the problem, between the way American fans treat a fighter on foreign soil versus any other country. In the UK, the fans show Golovkin respect for being a great fighter, but at no point is he lead to believe that he isn't the enemy. In America we are quick to turn on or tear apart our home grown fighters in support of foreigners.

Alrighty then, there it is. No one can use this as an excuse if Kell somehow wins which he won't.
Lol Hearn sure whipped up a lot more interest by claiming GGG was sick/out of shape. All based on Golovkin not smiling, which there are a zillion possible reasons for. A lot more punters are going to be dumping their money betting for Brook.

If you've been following ggg like I have the last few years you would know what he's like at weigh ins
He's a happy guy plays up to the fans and is usually beaming
Either something is wrong with him or he's acting weird for whatever reason
