Methinks this separation between Top Rank and HBO has been in the works a lot longer than the public realizes, or at least a lot longer than when it came to light.

Yep I agree. I think when Nelson got the job it was just a matter of time before TR and HBO had issues and/or part ways.

At this point I'm most curious what happens with Crawford and HBO or to see if Arum tries to play premium cable networks, or even PBC too, against each other.

I'm guessing about 400. Any more would be a big shock. Seriously uninteresting fight, even 400 would be a stretch. Manny vs Bud or Broner would've easily done 1m+

We'll see how viable their own PPV's are.

They've done it before, and my guess is they can try going that route with Oscar Valdez and Gilberto Ramirez next year or once Pacquiao retires, but they'll prolly need a network for fighters like Crawford and Lomachenko.

Curious to see what methods they use to market this PPV card, but with Donaire-Magdaleno it seems a better value than some recent HBO PPV cards.
