In all actuality Mayweather-Pacquiao was a stalemate more than anything

He never got into his rhythm like he usually does. When Mayweather gets in his rhythm he's throwing combos and making an impression. Against Pac, he was uncomfortable and fought very scared, throwing very few punches and not connecting. The supposed punches he landed never really connected cleanly. The videos highlighting this are everywhere.Comment

I'm saying it was a stalemate. No one did anything. No one took over, especially Mayweather. If you're going based on effort Manny did more but nonetheless it was a stalemate -- neither guy could figure the other guy out. The fact that Mayweather is parading around and hoisting that "win" up like he really did something shows he's a sad, sorry man and con artist. $100 to watch a scared black midget run around and hug and disgrace the sport.
If I was Mayweather I would be ashamed of myself. He made an ass of himself, his own father even saw it.
Anyone who thinks he's TBE has a low IQ and poor critical thinking skills.Last edited by punchr; 09-09-2016, 09:29 AM.Comment

Throwing one punch at a time isn't uncharacteristic for him at all, that's what he always does.
It weren't vintage Floyd but he won the fight.Comment

What are you talking about? He threw combinations against Cotto, Canelo, Maidana (first fight), Ortiz, etc. Against Manny he didn't execute his offense. It was a bad performance and even Mayweather himself knew it. He admitted it immediately after the fight.Comment

If Pacquiao was truly robbed there would be way more of an outrage about the decision than there is in reality. There's a minority who will always insist Pac was robbed but most people accept the outcome.
Look at Pac-Bradley 1, that fight weren't close to the magnitude of the Floyd fight but had far more outrage about the decision.
The main disappointment for most was that it didn't live up to expectations.Comment

Against Canelo and Maidana he threw couple flurries to the body that don't really convince me he is a combination puncher. Against Ortiz a nice flurry at the start of round 4 but the rest was single shots.
Then you have Guerrero, Mosley, Marquez etc where there were no flurries at all yet he was comfortable in all those fights.Comment

Knowing if there is a rematch, people have decided and realized that Floyd will be his usual safety first HUGGATHON self, so boxing fans have wizen up to realize even a 2nd rodeo will be a farce of epic let down again.
So what I'm trying to say is.. They know Floyd won't engage and therefor they don't want to spend their dollars in a running hugging marathon event ever again.
Floyd's fault he is branded as such.
# if there is one guy who needs to redeem himself from all that *****ness it's Floyd.
# you can't con the public twice if and if he does step up he needs to fight this time around or suffer rotten apples throw unto him, and that is why Floyd will never go back and face Pac.
