The updates on SKY Sports website are the like of :
Apparently, the Kazakh has been delayed getting to the weigh-in. The mystery surrounding his condition remains and even grows...
Here comes Golovkin. He looks like he just woke up... He's 158.9lbs
It's a lengthy face-off but it ends with a handshake. We haven't seen Golovkin smile once today and that's unusual...
Presumably, Golovkin will be asked point-blank whether he's feeling 100% or not. Personally, I've never seen him looking forlorn like this..
The early signs suggest there'll be no interview from Golovkin. There's talk of traffic problems.
He may have actually already left the building. Hmmm...
I could just be they're just hamming things up, hoping for more buys if it looks like Brooks chances are rising.
But GGG does come off a little strange in the past few days build up.
From what I saw at the official weigh in I retract my statement from earlier.
GGG does look drained.
GGG is just preparing for all the wight he is going to have to cut to make a Canelo fight happen. He weighed in at 159. He can get down to 157 or 156 if he needs to.
Idk why people are dismissing this and claiming it's just the Brits trying to hype up the fight. Rumors like these in the boxing community are usually true. Either way, one can look at GGG's body language and see that he is not 100% for one reason or another. We will eventually know the real reason after the fight is over whether he wins or loses.
I think they are just trying to sell the fight. People are talking about CM Punk in the UFC more than this one.
Feels like back in the day when they showed Pacquiao on 24/7 with all of these distractions before the Cotto and Margacheato fights so people wouldn't think they were going to be easy fights for him.
I expect GGG to take Brook out early.
I wouldn't put too much stock in how he looks personally, but I hope the cherrypick backfires.
:gay:
How is Brook a cherry pick? Stop watching boxing if you don't know jack about it. When nobody wants to fight you and you want to stay busy and the only guy with balls enough to step up to the plate isn't in your weight class, I wouldn't call that a cherry pick. And spare me the BS about how he could of dropped weight and fought ****elo because if GGG had agreed to fight ****elo at 154, ****elo would have developed a yeast infection and pulled out of the fight! Stick to watching MMA, you kids crack me up!
