Yea but Khan said he wants to fight Garcia next May 2017. Why the wait? Honestly I don't see it playing out any differently but If Khan wants to go ahead and let Garcia end his career than who are we to say no? He must of forgot Garcia is older and more mature as well.

I've watched the 1st fight over and over closely and Khan just like in his most recent fight with Canelo started off fast but slows down a lot by the 3rd rounds of his fights consistently.

It's a recipe for disaster against punchers especially when the chin isn't the greatest.

Maybe he feels like he was able to take some of Canelo's punches so he'll be more durable back at 147 forgetting the fact that Garcia is a big puncher and will probably just stalk Khan this time around.

Garcia said it himself he was initially WOW'ed by Khan's speed but once he started to slow down and Danny was able to get his timing and realize Khan didn't have all that punch pop it was over.

Danny Garcia sucks, but Khan has no chin. It's an intriguing fight that I would love to see. I honestly don't think Garcia will want it for the simple reason that he will be expected to KO Khan and anything short of that will be a disappointment. Also as others said, he was getting dominated until he landed a no-look left hook so if Khan can actually not be an idiot for 12 rounds he should be able to win.

Fair enough if Khan is the mandatory.

Garcia should take this fight anyway. He needs a big fight, he's becoming irrelevant and i doubt he's fighting someone like Porter or Thurman anytime soon.

Garcia will likely pull a "Quillen" and vacate instead of fighting Khan.
