He was not beating the brakes off him. Sure he won the first couole rounds but its not like he knocked him down or completely dominated. Bottom line is khan was the one who got dominated in that fight. With that being said garcia needs a big name to get back into relevence. He should fight pacquiao if not khan or thurman

This is a good fight! Winner fights Thurman next, then winner fights Spence next in what will be a huge fight by that point if they build it up this way, properly, unlike Haymon usually does!

I want to see this! It's a good tuneup fight for both of them before fighting Thurman. Neither are top guys but their styles would make for an entertaining fight, and fans have been waiting a long time for Danny Garcia to even fight a B+ guy. MAKE IT HAPPEN DUCKMAN!

Then what better way to build up Garcia-Thurman for next year than to have him ktfo Khan again? Make this next in November or December, then winner vs Thurman early April, while Spence fights Adrien Broner in December for the vacant title with Shawn Porter the co-main. Then the winner of Spence-Broner fights Porter. Winner of those matchups fight each other, likely Thurman-Spence, or Thurman-Porter II, or Garcia-Spence/Porter. What's wrong with this? You can get like six-seven premier fights out of this in just a year's time, and come out of it with a true superstar, likely Spence, ready to take over on PPV. Win/win/win for everyone, all within a year.

Can't take this writer seriously - Kahn wasn't dominating. He had a strong first round and by the second, Garcia was finding his range and groove. Third round his clipped him, fourth round he ended Kahn.

If your danny, you gotta take this fight,,, big money vs moderate risk.. Even if danny loses, it setups a trilogy. First fight was great. A lot better matchup than danny fighting Berto, etc

Yep, he was beating Canelo, till he was put in the grave. His chin is his weakness. He got an game plan and a speed skill that is not compatible with his chin.
