The UK is becoming THE place to fight. Especially now that Floyd is retired, very interesting. I wonder if showtime and HBO will consider moving more cards there.

I remember a video of Floyd going over there and the street was overcrowded with people. Gotta hand it to the UK, they really seem to show boxing the love it deserves.

Also I gotta add, maybe it's just how it comes across on tv, but it seems like a crazy electric atmosphere when there's a good fight in the UK. In Vegas it's like you just got high rollers who are too good make noise but damn, them Brits get riled up. Gives you the feeling it's actual fans there and not just rich folk being comped tickets.

Showtime is already in the Anthony Joshua business, with eyes obviously towards setting the Wilder-Joshua superfight.

You add the amount of business that they're already doing with fighters out of the UK, and Showtime is making the proper investment, imo.

I agree, it's not really a middle class sport at all!! Its either wealthy people who can afford to go to the events(vegas) live and order the **** PPV, or poor people passionate and stealing that internet link --It's dying a bit here man. People are for sure buying MMA events over boxing (especially casuals) in the U.S.

DO you think it will give UK fighters more leverage while negotiating now???? They can almost consider themselves the "A" side when in many cases they are not. UK fans are going to buy the fight to see the UK fighter perform.
