You have to understand on these boards most people were born in the mid to late '90.It's tough to finds older heads in here who truly know fighters of 20, 30, or 40 years past.

When he passed yesterday I expected people to start threads praising Chacon, but not one thread outside of the headline thread from the front page.

This boards members are just to young for them to know who Chacon was as a fighter and what he contributed to the sport. It's kind of sad considering that it's not like he fought in the 50s, 60s or earlier. He made his bones in the mid to late 70s, and continued up into the mid 80s.

It's just on these boards if you are not named Floyd, Manny, Canelo or GGG you will get ignored.

Anyways it's a true sad day for the history of boxing, one of its most legendary fighters has passed.
