Comments Thread For: Saunders To Defend Title on Fury-Klitschko II Manchester Bill

Billy Joe Saunders will finally return to the ring.

The WBO middleweight world champion hasn't fought since winning the global honour last December.

But his in-ring hiatus is set to come to an end in a matter of weeks. His comeback is set to take place on October 29 in Manchester, England.

Hopefully somebody decent like Khurtsidze, Sulecki or N'Dam.

After that, Bill will be looking for the highest bidder between Canelo and GGG.

The article reads: Saunders then went on to say that he wants "the winner of [the] weekend".

BJS then said that he wants the winner of GGG/Brook -- they fight on Sep 10 and BJS wants the winner on Oct 29, right?

I hope GGG reads this article...

... it's not after that... Let's be serious on this one: BJS can't expect Canelo to fight him as a co-feature in the U.K.

BJS is fighting in October and then wants a bigger fight in December, which is why he was referring to Golovkin/Brook.

I didn't find alternative sources to the article in the OP.

Hopefully it's a dangerous puncher, rather than someone durable who's guaranteed to go 12 rounds.
