Ward will be P4P #1 by the end of the year. He didn't hang around begging for a pay day like Golovkin is doing. He moved on up and took a challenge like the great fighter Lil G fans wish Golovkin was.

Correction, #2 by the end of the year, behind Roman Gonzales. And that's if he wins, which I don't think he will. But he still would be a ducking coward. As a fan of Ward you should want better from him but instead, he's going to be another victim of Kovalev.

I just hope Kovalev doesn't beat out whatever little brains that idiot has out of him.

The winner of Ward-Kovalev will be universally recognised as the #1 P4P there's no doubt about it. Ward made his own way in the sport, Golovkin is sat around waiting for Canelo to hand him a pay day and a bit of credibility so sad.

it's pretty lame when boxing gets to playing with words. Canelo did not want to defend the middleweight title against GGG with out a catchweight plain and simple.

It's getting real annoying how people assume Ward was the one who went out of his way to go fight Kovalev. I give credit to HBO for that by not putting up with his **** anymore. You can pretty much be sure that if they didn't offer him the contract they did, stipulating he must fight Kovalev, he wouldn't be fighting him in November or anytime soon. You can tell by his/his team's opponent selection leading up, that that fight would've taken much longer to happen if HBO didn't step in. So many of his fans cry about how Golovkin can't do no wrong. Golovkin can and has, and so has Ward. All fighters have proven this.

It wasn't a word game but if you say moving up to middleweight instead of moving up to 160 it means something different. He fought at middleweight while fighting at 155. But he never fought at 160. Just clarifying because those two statements have two different meanings.

Stop it, Ward gets full credit for moving up to fight Kovalev.

Sorry only in the universe you made up in your head. If Gonzales dominates Cuadras there's no argument for removing him for #1. Sorry but Ward vs Kovalev winner will have to settle for #3 behind the Gonzales and the Special One Kell Brook.

The Don has spoken lil homie, now go fly a kite and leave the rankings to the real men.

Or he could've said no? He could've went to Showtime where he built his career. He had options, no?

Then someone replies against A, B, and says C, D.
Then you come with E, and don't answer C or D.
                      And repeat the cycle.

I don't remember hearing Chavez sr saying that. But yes, it counts, it's one of the factors. But that plays in my favour and against your position.

Brook -> Heavier than GGG. So?
