Comments Thread For: Ricky Hatton: Nobody Said I'd Beat Tszyu, Brook Can Beat Golovkin

Manchester legend Ricky Hatton is starting to slowly step across the street with his prediction for this coming Saturday's anticipated showdown. He now feels IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (36-0, 25KOs) has a shot to pull off a major upset on Saturday night, when he steps in the ring with IBO/IBF/WBC/WBA middleweight world champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs).

I'm afraid that it's just a tad bit different.

Nobody said Pac could beat Oscar! Nobody said Leonard could beat Hagler! Nobody said Holyfield could beat Tyson! Yet they did! You don't think it'll happen, until it does!!!!!

Nobody is saying Brook could beat Golovkin but Brook will SHOOK THE WORLD!

Agreed that GGG is one of the best middleweights ever. Disagree that Brook will beat him although he did look as fast and fluid as I've ever seen him at his media workout. The speed on the combinations were much better than I saw even against Porter. But until GGG shows he's totally passed it, you have to favor him against everyone.

Not really. Kell Brook is going to get humiliated in a big fight on the world stage so comparisons to Hatton-Pacquiao might be more appropriate.

This is the first fight I've ever seen fans hoping their guy is in a competitive fight and doesn't win to easily so they can justify the fight. Usually fans want their guy to beat the other guy impressively. Not this fight. GGG fans are hoping Kell makes it competitive before he gets KTFO

Hatton vs Tszyu was a mugging at the MEN, Most people who have seen that fight agree that the outcome would have been different on a neutral playing field. Disgraceful Dave Parris.

He's gonna go out the way all Brits do, flat on his face with a shattered glass jaw to the shame of all Brits and the laughter of the whole world at how feeble and bad at fighting we are
