if brook can even go 10 rounds i would be very down on golovkin.

i wouldn't call him a all out hype job but he certainly isn't anything close to what fans have built him up to be.

brook shouldn't make it past 6 rounds to be honest.

If Brook wins or doesn't get KOed it would be testament to how good Brook really is GGG has already proven himself KOing people that have never been stopped before easily.

thats the thing.....i don't think brook is really all that good. he's A pretty above average welterweight in my book.

        but him at middleweight?

theres no way golovkin should go the distance with brook.

Will you admit that the weight difference wasnt as big an issue as you all made out and they are in fact a fairly similar size?
Or will it 100 percent be due to GGG being 'exposed' or a 'hypejob' and nothing to do with brook?
Personally, I don't think it will be competitive. Not because Brook is not a good opponent, but when a great middleweight fights a great welterweight, well, the bigger man usually wins.

I'm not totally discrediting the fight either. I have said it was pointless simply because I feel one hundred percent certain that GGG will not only win, but knock Brook out. I'm really wanting more 50/50 fights and this is not one of them.

Having said all of that, I do think that GGG had limited options and well, Brook is a champion who is 36-0 and that's impressive no matter what. He also holds a win over Shawn Porter who I consider to be a top welterweight. And of course, many middleweight champions in the past have faced smaller challengers and of course, some of them lost(like Hagler).

If Brook comes in and makes a fight of it, I praise him and that's good for boxing. If the fight is close at all, it will be good for boxing. The promoters and matchmakers couldn't have been too wrong about a competitive fight. That's what I like and want to see. Hopefully we do. I've seen GGG blow out enough guys to know how bad a$$ he is. I want to see him in competitive matches. After this, I want to see him in with Jacobs in December. I still see GGG winning but there's potential for fireworks there.

It would look bad for GGG, calling himself p4p and struggling badly against a talented yet untested man.....kinda like Mayweather calling himself TBE and then getting punished by a raw unskilled brawler like Maidana....makes the claims look laughable....

I'm expecting Brook to do good because I'm not that high on Golovkin and Brook is being underrated and the weight jump is being overstated, but really Brook shouldn't be able to avoid him all night unless Golovkin isn't what most think he is.

It's in golovkins best interest for it not to be competitive. What's good about being in a competitive fight vs a guy 2 weight classes lower?

Not only is brook not a mw.. He's not even top 10 pfp.

It's a mismatch. If GGG struggles in this fight it will go down in history with the many other examples of a cherry pick gone wrong. When you take a fight like this it's a lose lose situation. You win everyone will say well you were supposed to win it was mismatch no big deal. If you struggle then it will be an indictment on GGG and him just being a hype job that got exposed. Sucks but that's the way it works don't like it make better fights.

                    Who are these fighters?

Rosasdo stopped in 2 by Angulo.

                    Lemiuex stopped by Rubio.

Stevens stopped by a 16 loss 154 pounder.

Rubio knocked out in 32 seconds by Kofi.

Yeah the coward is freaking Ali.

I guess you overrated the fxck outta Floyd Mayweather case and example?

Floyd goes 12 rounds with Andre Berto
Soto Karass goes 12 with Berto but stops him

Floyd goes 12 rounds with Cotto
Margarito goes 11 rounds and KOes him
Pacquiao goes 12 and stops him

Floyd goes 12 rounds with Mosley
Mundine gets him outta there in 7 rounds

Floyd goes 12 rounds with Zab Judah
Amir Khan finishes him in 5 rounds

Man you meaning to tell me little Floyd can't stop his man but he is TBE surely that can't be true TBE would stop his man with a relentless barrage of punches forcing his opponent to quit never mind that he doesn't have much power he'd force the issue like a true great fighter WOULD do and close the show...
                      So what is it then?
Is he overrated as fxck as you say or does he just do enough and he is exempt from your little bias agenda, hmmm?
