That face off was the absolute **** ...... This is as 50-50 as it gets, Kovalev has been in with the better comp recently so we can gauge him better. I'm still going with Ward cause I believe he will elevate his game come fight night. Plus I feel he is more durable than he gets credit for.

I was thinking the same thing, I thought Kovalev was taller but I guess you can't go by what people list.

I'm just relieved to see Ward fight period. The guy is so inactive in the sport. Guys like Sugar Ray Robinson who fought over 200 times over 3 decades are probably turning over in the grave. Boxing today truly is prize fighting. The Kovalev/Ward fight should be interesting. If Kovalev can keep Ward from holding (tall order) he might succeed. Otherwise Ward might win on points if it goes the distance.

Both just fought so no excuses for either side.....

Kov and Ward just fought and are now fighting in November so both will be ready to go. Given that both are world class fighters this will just come down to whose better. I'm picking Ward to win however if Kovalev wins I won't be shocked or anything. It's like win Hearns and Leonard fought the first time you wouldn't have been surprised at either fighter winning even though you may have favored one over the other. I have the same sentiment in this fight.
