Yeah Toprank had to do it themselves because HBO simply doesn't do it. Golden Boy has their own platform R!ngTVLive where they live stream all their Estrella fights in english and undercards to HBO and HBO PPV fights and now their own PPVs. For people to watch on their Roku, Chromecast, Amazon Fire Stick, ect. It's 2016 and all the big network/channels offer live stream for their sporting events EXCEPT HBO. It's not just for people want to watch on their phones or laptop people are using this as a new form of TV and don't have cable/satellite provider . They losing money and customers by not having this. NBC, FOX, ESPN hell even Showtime offers live stream. HBO sending customers to 3rd party vendors is just foolish. Golden Boy is spending more and more developing their own streaming service. They already have a R!ngTVLive production team, camera crew, announcers that they use every month. I could see in the future Golden Boy ditching HBO all together and putting out their own monthly service or streaming channel.

The way the industry is going it's just bizarre for a company as big as HBO to not have live streaming on any of their apps or website. For movies waiting for it to be uploaded on demand works. But for live sports telling customers to just wait till monday when we upload the fight from sat night just don't work.

I streamed on Khanelo fight but it wasn't through HBO?? It was through some site I never even heard of before???And it took forever to get working. Once it was up it was decent.

I'm not buying this fight either. If they had Lemuix/Saunders and Luis Ortiz fighting that Russian like Orginally planned I would of. That would of been a GREAT stacked card. I would DEFINITELY go live though if I was close to Dallas. That's gonna he one hell of a Party. Saturday Night 12-2 a.m. at Jerryland!!! I'm a lil jealous.

Was it legal? Did it have HBO announcers? There are tons of illegal sites that are stealing HBO's PPV and putting it online. Most have crappy or unreliable video. HBO doesn't have an official live stream. Golden Boy is providing the official live stream that will not have HBO announcers.

Most of the fights I do watch are all streamed anyway, so I'm glad that GBP is starting to do this, more should imo. It can definitely widen the viewing audience and also help PPV #'s as well if they promote it correctly.

But, I definitely disagree with the PPV live stream price, 65 bucks is pretty steep for an online stream of the fight.

I hope is was legal?? I paid like $60 for it??? It was through a GB website link. The quality and sound were great. I had to sign-up and then log-in their website? I'll have to go back and check credit card statement. Ohh and I had to DL their software I didn't like that part.or signing up bs.

Does anyone know how much UFC charges for their live stream PPVs? Is it less then the price it costs to buy the PPV from your traditional cable provider? I have no clue. But the problem with the pricing could be this has NOTHING to do with HBO it will be through Golden Boy. So not sure HBO would be happy if they charged less then the price HBO is charging to buy it through a cable provider. Otherwise customers who have cable could say why pay more when I can get it cheaper from Golden Boy. Every live stream sold HBO doesn't get a cut which is why they will not be using the HBO broadcast. Same video feed but different announcers.

OK that sounds legit. Thought you were talking about one of those shady websites where it's free but quality is crap and you likely will infest your laptop with all kinds of virus's and spyware. LMAO

You used the same service they will be using for the Smith fight which is legal high quality live stream. Canelo/Khan to my knowledge was the first time they live streamed any Golden Boy PPV. This time around they are actually promoting this and getting top announcers like Larry Merchant.
