They're not demanding 50/50,cretin. Nobody has ever said Ggg has priced himself out, he's always taking less than he's worthLOL, g said this fight wasnt going to happen himself, when he said its a 50/50 fight with him having sold 97k PPV's and Canelo has sold MILLIONS! Pac had sold millions of PPV'S and he didnt get 50/50. Floyd didnt get 50\50 vs Oscar and had accomplished waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy more than g at this point, there is NO WAY IN HELL he's gonna get a 50/50 in a fight with Canelo, he has already ruled that out with his dumb ass thinking

It's ok to criticize your favorite boxer, you don't have to defend they every move. GGG is already killing fight thinking he deserve 50/50 when he don't 60/40 maybe but 70/30 will be money outcome now that Canelo don't have WBC belt, he brings nothing to the table against Canelo like a lot of you guys say with Lara, Canelo already sells ppv's, can fill up a stadium so why the hell do he think he deserves 50/50?Comment

He said it's a 50/50 fight. It's fine for him to feel that way as long as 50% is not their take it or leave it demand. At this point it doesn't matter, there's no negotiations and it's unlikely to happen even next year.Comment

Thats a solid bet to be true. I think its possible Canelo gets tired of being called a ***** & forces this fight like he forced the Erislandy Lara fight, but I think GBP has far too few ready for prime time players that they kinda gotta milk Canelo out til some other guys become bigger + GGG gets a lil older & 2018 probably sounds a whole lot better to Oscar.Comment

Both Fishnet Oscar and Canelita Princessa know GGG will bend them over in 2017 as well. COWARDS.Comment

Gotta admire the haters who keep bringing up Lara when Lara has done nothing to earn that right. Look, here's the difficulty of making GGG/Lara: HBO vs Showtime. Lara is not a big-enough fighter for Showtime to stick up for...and of course, they're going to want to televise the fight on their ppv if they can help it. So, it's a tough fight to make. Additionally, who's to say that Lara won't try to price himself out of the fight (ala BJS style)...he already is getting paid 1mil (undeservedly) for fighting journeymen north of 36. The argument I am trying to make is that it was always going to be a win-win situation for Lara to continue to call out GGG. He can ride on GGG's coattails without ever being forced to fight him (or anybody good at 154). And, he can look brave in wanting to challenge the 160 champion without ever having to face the 160 champion. And let's be honest, if we're talking boxing here, Lara simply has no shot to win against GGG...it would be a KO result the way Wade was KO'ed. The only reason why a GGG/Lara fight is made would be to shut up the critics. There's literally no money their for GGG...he's going to lose money just by picking a lesser draw (& one who's not even in his division). Essentially, as a boxing fan, I would prefer Lara move up & become GGG's mandatory...you know, like the way Sergio Mora did.Translation: I know Abel said once ggg had Canelos belt we would never mention his name again but we are looking for a career payday. I know we said we wanted to unify the division #allthebelts but we want a career pay day. We doubt Canelo will move up to 160 to fight ggg so we refuse to come to him. We will continue to fight in the UK against Welterweights because the exposure and they agree to fight ggg at 160. GGG is willing to fight anyone from 147-160 as long as they move up or down to 160. Ggg can not force guys to get in the ring with him at 160. We won't fight Lara because he doesn't bring anything to the table. If degale calls us we will offer his career lowest pay day and offer to fight him at 160. But degale is running scared and only talks when ggg is signed to fight another fighter. But like I said before we will keep begging Canelo for a career payday.
And we have to be real about Canelo. At some point his body will force him into the 160 division. You don't get smaller as you age.Comment

how has he always taken less, he's negotiated from the A-side perspective, he's clearly the D-side of this negotiation...we were on here earlier this week when he said its a 50/50 fight...but dont worry, this is clearly a sympton of fanboyism, where you dont believe facts because that gets in the way of your thinking...he clearly doesnt want it with Canelo
You are what you get paid for
