People also forget that Carl Froch whilst a rugged challenger he lacked some good fundamentals like you said hence why guys like Groves, Dirrell, Taylor and others were capable of outboxing him and making him look silly he beat a past it version of Kessler but even the rematch wasn't all one sided I scored it a draw.

Froch was a straightforward guy -- i.e. honest and frank into the ring and outside... I didn't say he was a boxing genius or that he was touched by intellectual finesse...

Makes you think what win are Ward fans going nuts about since they seem to be so obsessed about resumes?
Surely it wasn't Kessler he didn't beat him fairly lol was it Andrade or Green or a drained Chad Dawson that wanted a catchweight.

I never liked Ward, mainly because of that "Kessler fight" which represented (for me) the epitome of "unsportsmanship conduct" in the sport... But I don't "hate" Ward, though -- there were others who allowed him to act in that particular way...

Smoger was an enabler in that fight (think he was the ref) but If you keep on clipping someone with your head surely you'd make an adjustment to stop it Ward never once did that so yeah you're right that was very unsporting of Ward I think in a clean fight Kessler would have possibly hurt Ward hence why he was doing that so much.

Maybe not hate but I dislike him and his fanbase which do nothing for the sport but hold it back.

The truth is out now, Ward career looks so shallow and unimpressive when you take off the tinted glasses.
So the undefeated Mikkel Kessler doesn't count as a career defining win since Froch is the ONLY one right ?

Joe Calzaghe took that 0 way before Ward.

Are you really comparing 3 rounds of sparring with headgear on and large gloves to a championship fight? Loool come off it man. Golovkin spars heavyweights so he must be ready for Wilder then.

Smoger is a little better... Jack Reiss was the ref in the "Kessler fight"...
