If you can't win a $600,000 purse bid how the hell you gonna offer Wilder, Fury, Klitschko, Parker, or Fury a purse to fight? And none of them are gonna fight you unless mandated or you have a title. This guy is an idiot.

I hope he doesn't follow rigo and Gamboa paths ???
Look what rigo had to go trough , and look now at Gamboa .
How would he not fight this mandatory that could put him in a way to fight for the world champion ???

Unless roc nation has offered him
More money to fight in ward kovalev undercard and a big contract to do so , or haymon has advise him to forget about titles ????

Otherwise, this is a big stylus decision.

Hit and kit be hit .

Ya these Cuban latch on to these small promotion companies and then it's over for them. GB actually set him up to be 2 fights away from klits or fury. Wtf is lil as Dade gonna do.

It could be that someone is whispering in his ear. Maybe Haymon trying to bring him into the mix with Wilder and Joshua.

But if so they better be offering him a lot of money. If he beats Fury or Klitschko he becomes the real heavyweight champion of the world...they need to make it worth his while if he's going to turn away from that.

Damnnn...I don't know what the deal breaker was/is but I hope they can still make this happen. Ortiz doesn't have enough time to get back in line again and needs this fight.

I am just dumbfounded. Then again, considering he did not put in his own bid for the fight, I don't think he ever wanted to fight Ustinov anyway.

Could drugs be in the system as someone else mentioned? Perhaps.

He had such tremendous opportunity too. Just wow.

Dade just ruined Ortiz career. He had a bigger payday set up on the canelo ppv. Instead these amateur phuks sabotaged that fight and created problems with golden boy. Golden boy got paid millions to wipe their hands clean from these meddling idiots but Ortiz ain't no free agent Dade own him. And those clowns ain't even on the same page with Ortiz and his manager who both said they had no problems with golden boy and would go to Russia after the buy out. Now they refusing to fight and about to get Ortiz stripped. Why do these Cubans sign with these shady no name promoters who don't now shyt about the business.
