Yes fighting Brook is a new low but seriously I think fighters should be protected.
      Like who? Enlighten us.

If you have any knowledge of boxing history you should know boxers have moved up this much in weight and often much more in weight hundreds of times. None of those fights were not allowed. Bob Foster, the great light heavyweight champ moved up to fight Ali who was weighing about 215 pounds. Henry Armstrong was a featherweight who fought for the middleweight title. Light heavyweight champ Michael Spinks beat 215 pound heavyweight champ Larry Holmes. I could give you a hundred other examples of fighters moving up much more than 13 pounds. The fact that Brook is a 6 to 1 underdog doesn't make the fight illegal either. Spence was a 100 to 1 favorite to beat Bundu and nobody outlawed that fight. Brook is a world champion and he has weighed more than GGG the last two weigh ins.

Those were really good fighters and to be honest Brook isn't anywhere in that league. Let's not forget Brooks own resume is full of the Jojo Dan and other non en******. His victory over Carson left more answers than questions and only one victory is note worthy though technically it could have gone any way against Porter. Brook is not the king of the welterweight division. He can not beat Pacquiao, Garcia, Bradley, Thurman, and his current mandatory and neither can he beat the guys at 154 lbs.

How come so many Ward/Floyd fans wanted to see Lara fight GGG in his first fight at 160 without having doing anything but they seem mad about a naturally bigger man making an easy transition to 160.
Brook will likely be heavier than GGG on fight night.

So, you're critical of Brook's resume yet had this to say about Golovkin's:

I also think his team protected him from some good middleweight because he is not a spring chicken yet he has fought no one.
So basically, according to you, we have a WW who has fought no one against a MW who has fought no one. So what's the problem?

lol that was like a 30 second sparring clip. Im sure you could find 30 seconds in a fight like berto v mayweather where berto looked as if he was winning. Froch said brook was a 'nightmare' to spar against

Friend Brook is nowhere near Spinks abilities and you saw how Brook was a punch bag. For all we know Brook might never fight again or become another Margarito.
