Like Vitali gave Haye?

Oh Haye could have fought Vitali as early as 2009, but he decided to avoid that and fought Valuev instead. Haye was just very tactical around the Klitschko negotiations, not that I blame him for it in retrospect but he was the one hesitating, especially when it comes to Vitali. He could have fought him but he played the waiting game for too long and the champ retired, too bad.

Vitali did verbally agree to fight Davey but he lost to Vlad so why would Vitali fight him after a loss ?

Haye was a world champion and a draw. Briggs is a washed up old fighter willing to take a beating for a pay day, he has 0 draw which is why he's walking the streets of London begging for fights.
