He is 26 to 34 for GGG so time is on his side. Every boxer ages at a different rate. GGG isn't showing any signs of going down hill from aging that I have seen. He might be very hard to beat for many years yet like Mayweather and Hopkins.

Why don't you just speak the troof? He knows he will get knocked the Fawk out!
He had no problem weight draining himself and was way too green when he fought Floyd! Oh that's fight pillow fisted Floyd ain't knocking anyone out so there is no risk there

          Shouldn't be too long then.

Why do they have to fight in September '17 and not in May? Besides the obvious.

To be honest Chavez Sr. Is one of my FAVORITE boxers of all time!!! And I couldn't think of any other comparisons until that! Greatness wants to stay GREAT! No knock just Chavez is much harder on MexiCAN boxers. Sht he called ODH vs. Pac a BS fight. And a GGG/Brook, Khan/Canelo mismatch years ago.... He was just mad at Oscar because he wanted him to fight his son.

                That's what you see.

He looks like a fighter on the slide to me.

Damn, I don't think I've ever seen any fighter take so many L's in such a short period of time.

I mean damn, dude. I'm waiting for the president of Mexico to just come out and call Canelo a perra

They always talk about time and age but in this case GGG looks like he'll be going strong for at least another 2-3 years his body is practically made for boxing with the super lean long structure and heavy hands.

While Canelo is still young they make it seem as If he's still 20 years old. Canelo over age 25 last time I checked he's no spring chicken anymore and doesn't strike me as the type of fighter who is going to get better with age given his weight struggles and such...Canelo is pretty much at his peak now.

At the end of the day waiting to fight GGG could make it worse for Canelo as he himself starts to slow down over the years

Golovkin definitely doesn't seem to have the fire and explosiveness he had at a younger age but I think he'll be able to keep at his current pace for quite a few years and it's more than enough to dispose of Canelo who over the next few years will be trying to stave off obesity as he ages. If not for boxing Canelo would just be some short fat kid while GGG would still be a pretty lean guy with athletic build. One could make the argument that Canelo will go downhill before GGG does even though he's younger...
