    The same with Saunders.

Offering those guys 1.5mil was ridiculous, and was obviously NOT the best possible offer they could have made...... you arguing that (in YOUR opinion) Jacobs doesn't deserve the money, is completely irrelevant..... especially considering Brook got 4mil + PPV that he did nothing to earn..... the fact is, they could have offered Jacobs more, but they CHOSE not to.
All the so called ducking fighters say the same thing...K2 ain't right with the money.

K2 could have laid another 500k on the table to make those fights.

Are you comparing brook popularity to Jacob lol? You do know that brook has a big following in Europe? You do know that brook vs ggg is happening in Europe? So 4mil for brook is realistic and 1.5 for Jacob to fight ggg is also a realistic offer since Jacob can't attract flys to $h!t

        My 2c on Pirog.....

We really didn't see too much of Dmitry at the highest level, and he looked to be developing nicely..... it's a real shame he got injured. Nice style.

The fact remains, Pirog was even less-proven than Golovkin...... even after the Jacobs win he struggled against Maciel and he couldn't put away Ishida.

Just on style alone, Golovkin likely beats him, I would definitely have GGG as favorite. Unless you have a certain style, you would most likely need 2 GREAT (possibly exceptional) intangibles to beat Golovkin, being chin and power/speed.

I would take Golovkin, but that could be an entertaining scrap.

          because..... 97k PPV's wouldn't generate enough to pay Jacobs 1.5mil ?

..... are you REALLY sure about that ?

Don't be ridiculous, nobody has ever referred to Kell Brook as a draw.

It'll be another Rubio fight, with Jacobs going down on the first clean hit and then waiting to get up at the count of 9, getting counted out and arguing with the ref about it. That guy claimed the ref was holding him down after Pirog KO'd him. The only thing the ref did was keep Danny from flopping on the floor like a fish.
Only issue with Jacobs vs Pirog was him not figuring Pirog out plus Byrd kept Jacobs down instead of letting him get up secondly Pirog beats every Top Middleweight out there but he's retired so there really should not be any name dropping on him unless he came out of retirement to fight Golovkin I still feel he knocks Golovkin out or hurts him he has great head movement and can punch and land shots you wouldn't see coming

Jacobs will be ready for Golovkin he's too straight up and down no effects all he has is power his defense is suspect he gets caught with punches and he is very slow but once he underestimate a guy like Brook or some one that can punch and drop you it's over for Golovkin

Yeah I like him to but this is BS. I'll find the link but he did a interview a few months back where he stated the GGG fight was 12 to 18 months away for him! I think now he's starting to feel the pressure!

Go ahead and try to justify why Jacobs-Mora is some kind of decent fight....
You guys are fking ridiculous.... GGG-Brook is the culmination of multiple people ducking GGG...Saunders,Canelo, and finally Eubank Jr not accepting the fight vs GGG and this is what we end up with....what's Jacobs excuse?

quillin vs jacobs averaged 386 k viewers, and topped out at just over 400K

for some perspective, golovkin vs dominic wade did 1.3 million on HBO

and at you admitting that you don't do any research and just speculate. your evaluation of a fighter's worth and earning value means absolutely nothing, adn you've admitted it.

Jacobs needed a 7 month vacation before the Mora fight(supposed to be on Frampton-LSC card), then when Eubank Jr pussed out and GGG would've needed an opponent in September, Jacobs needed another 2 months before rematching Mora lol

                    • If Jacobs says he needs more money, you guys complain.

If Jacobs says he needs 18 months, you guys complain.

If Jacobs says he's ready to fight GGG later this year after he beats Mora, you guys still complain.

                      STFU and change your tampons

GGG will get that work when they step through the ropes later this year or early next year.
