Comparing Canelo's and Brook's fights with Mathew Hatton

4 years ago both Canelo and Brook beat the dog**** out of the super durable Mathew Hatton (who has never been stopped).

Here are the fights. Canelo landed more than Brook, but also got hit more than Brook. Both guys won every round vs Hatton.








Since then both Canelo and Brook have improved by leaps and bounds, and have become world champions. Canelo went on to beat Trout/Lara while Brook went on to beat Shawn Porter.

But their fights vs Hatton 4 years ago showed that these guys are on a similar elite level. Brook showed that he hits at least as hard as Canelo.
