Bingo , Mexican fans are great though loyal they will support dog shiet and pay for it but some wont hence why Canelo fanbase has been dying off.

and just lol @ you thinking K2 doesn't have clout and funds for covering the purses for a fight of this caliber.
Then why does GGG and his opponents get paid a combined 2.5-3.5 million??? they broke and Golovkin can't sell ppv for ****. He relies on Canelo for ppv buys in this fight.

And Canelo relies on GGG too. This fight is called the biggest fight in boxing, and it is.

There are only a few that could sell more.

          Mayweather coming from retirement.
Pacquiao fighting Canelo. Which is unlikely.

There's no other fight bigger than Canelo-GGG.

Canelo can sell 300-400k vs other people. But he can make around 1 million if not more, fighting GGG. So yes GGG brings a lot for him too.

GGG and Brook just made a combined purse of about 8 millions. Four millions for each.

you guys don't get it. Canelo regularly makes a huge pay day each fight literally no matte who he fights. GGG makes about 2 million per fight when it is K2 paying the purses. If Canelo wants to have a super fight sure he needs GGG but to make a big pay day no he doesn't need GGG whatsoever.

fanboys acting like canelo is desperate for a big fight, at 26 the kid already had 2(cotto-floyd), and he has time on his side to get more in the future, ggg is like 35 and he will never be on an event like this if he doesnt fight canelo...

When you're a fanboy yourself, you shouldn't refer to others as "fanboys" in a degrading-type manner.
