It means the best selling event since Cotto-Martinez not better selling than Cotto-Martinez. I already knew it didn't sell better than Cotto-Martinez. It sold more seats but less gate.

I don't think anyone should be expecting Kov vs Ward to do huge PPV numbers. Its rare that two PPV ******* do great PPV numbers. See TC vs Postol or GGG vs Lemeiux for recent outcomes with PPV *******. If Kov vs Ward get 200k or better its huge for them. Think Floyd vs Gatti did 300k for their PPV cherry breaking fight which was impressive as f#ck all things considered at the time & maybe the record in this era for PPV *******.

Gatti wasn't a ******,,, he had PPV with Oscar, plus about a billion fight of the years under his belt

The quote says "[Golovkin-Leimux] the top boxing seller since the Miguel Cotto-Antonio Margarito rematch in 2011", which is not what you just said.

It would be correct if the author said "Golovkin-Leimux is the top boxing seller since the Cotto-Martinez" like you just said, or it should be "Cotto-Martinez is the top boxing seller since Cotto-Margarito II. The author must have simply forgotten about Cotto-Martinez or didn't know it sold well. Cotto-Martinez had a slightly higher attendance than Golovkin-Leimux too.
