He tests positive for stanozolol and had a robbery win against Chudinov.

He gets no respect from me.

Google the Ahmad Öner interview about Sturm, released about 2-3 years ago. Öner was his manager for a good two years, Öner went on record saying that Sturm paid the WBA $200,000 in order to elevate him to WBA Superchampion status so he can avoid the mandatory vs. Golovkin. Öner said multiple times if Sturm challenged him on this fact he would go on record with a sworn testimony in court.

Öner is a criminal but I trust him on this factoid: now you know why the WBA has been so 'kind' to Sturm. He's been greasing them since ages.

Wow, he's actually trying to keep his title in court?

German tv must've lost interest in him, he sure wasn't getting very many of the old time German decisions anymore. If he's moving to Bosnia, then he should change his name back to Adnan Catic.

... on another hand: Sturm was born in Leverkusen, Germany, in 1979... and he really ducked GGG...

Sturm, doesn't get anywhere near the respect he deserves. They can talk all they want, the guy is a legitimate 5x Champion. Word is that the positive test result is getting thrown out too, looks like someone might have tried to smear him and good attorneys put that to an end.

I thought Chudinov beat Sturm in the rematch, so let's see if there's a third fight.

Re:respect. Bull****e, he doesn't get respect because he won/kept belts because of friendly judges, he avoided first Abraham, then Martinez, then Golovkin because he knew he'd get KO'd, because in nobody's mind but crooked judges did he "win" a super middleweight belt and because he tested positive for drugs. Oh, and he's not a 5X champion. He won alphabet belts. Fighting and beating the best makes you a champion. Sturm never did.
