A guy like GGG is popular anywhere he goes. US, UK, Europe, you name it.

I think HBO was smart not to make this a PPV. The more exposure for GGG, the better! GGG and Crawford are both very talented, but people just aren't ready to pay to see them until they are fighting Canelo and Pacquiao!

I actually believe Loeffler is wrong. I expect Brook to have nearly the entire arena on his side

Canelo Alvarez has been marketed brilliantly throughout his career, but Gennady Golovkin is catching up. In fact, SportsPro ranks Golovkin as the 29th most marketable athlete in the world, whereas Canelo doesn’t crack the top-50. Golovkin’s endorsements with Apple Watch and Jordan Brand only reinforce this assessment....after the London fight with GGG estimates that GGG will be in the top 20 marketable athletes in the world...Canelo will soon no longer be A-side as far as drawing power in boxing..

I don't think GGG fans will be heard though. The British boxing fans usually create a good atmosphere. They are like the Ali Sami Yen of boxing.

Golovkin isn't anywhere near the draw Canelo is and doesn't generate anywhere near the interest.

                He's absolutely wrong.

That arena is going to be there supporting Kell 100%, I fully expect GGG to be greeted with boo's. Great fighter, but the British crowd are there for the British fighter that is the one showing the courage.

even though golovkins popular over here the arena will be very much pro brook. They will try and make the arena as hostile for golovkin as possible, most of the crowd will have had 8 or 9 pints down them by the time he does his ring walk and it could be joseph stalin or ronald mcdonald walking towards the ring, the british fighter will get cheered and the foreign fighter will get booed aggressively
