Why can't fight negotiations ever go smoothly for once?

Mohegan Sun in Connecticut could be good. The NY Russian community will make the trip and show love!

We would rather go to Atlantic City.

This way you can have the entire tri state area, NY, NJ and PA go as well.

Going to CT is easy for NYC folks, but a lot tougher for PA and NJ, where there is a good amount of the Russian diaspora.

From the business side of it, AC is struggling, and will be far easier to do business with when you have multiple casinos fighting for it.

I would actually not be surprised if Ryabinski works with Duva on this one. He mentioned it in an interview before that he was open to it.

        Finally, the credibility.

After the PED scandal... since FACTS are too hard to understand... I am sure the line of thinking is this.

If Povetkin KOs Stiverne in Russia, or anywhere outside of the United States, you will still have folks claiming he cheated.

By having Povetkin KO Stiverne here in the United States... even if it means making less money, it is instant credibility and just makes Wilder look worse.

Povetkin KOs a guy in his home country with whom Wilder went the distance.
