HBO has been the Budweiser of Boxing for a couple decades. Even now when they are putting on more bs fights %-wise than they ever have I think there is still a very solid argument to make that they are the pinnacle of boxing. Its understandable people are loyal to HBO.

I honestly don't think they are the pinnacle anymore. Thurman vs Porter got 4 million viewers and had million dollar paydays. Loma is getting 500k viewers and much smaller purses.
