It's a great fight to look forward to but Easter Jnr has the clear edge in skills and he looks huge at the weight. Kind of like Walters did at 126 lbs.
TKO 10 Easter Jnr.

You all kill me with the Walters was huge at 126 comments. Looking at the top 20 or so guys, 5'7, not in the tallest group of featherweights, and outside of the fight where he didn't make weight, his in ring weights were not in the top Echelon of fight night weights either. Seems like HBO excuses for Donaire getting his ass whooped stuck and people just started passing the huge at featherweight bull**** around. If Walters is huge at featherweight, then what was Lomachenko, Selby, Velez, and every other guy his height or taller who had higher in ring weights at featherweight?
Easter should beat the **** out of Commey. Commey is just another crude, unpolished African guy with a bit of raw ability who has faced all cans. Commey would need a couple years in the states with a quality boxing trainer before he even tried to make a run at the lightweight title.

I take your point regarding Walters' size. The illusion of bigness with Walters probably comes from his abnormal reach. I think his arms were stretched at birth or something.
By Keith Idec - Last we saw Robert Easter Jr., he wrecked Algenis Mendez. Easter's perfectly executed right hand left Mendez crumpled against the ropes, unable to continue in the fifth round of a scheduled 12-rounder. That impressive performance April 1 in Washington, D.C., was just what the emerging Easter needed to legitimize himself... [Click Here To Read More]
Dumb talk from Easter.
I hope for his sake that's just smack talk and not where his head is at.
I definitely don't see this as a 50/50 fight like many. I kinda see it like a 75/25 fight. Easter gots a lil something more than most cats. Commey has a largely bs manufactured record with like more than half his KO wins over cats with losing records & his two best opponents both took him the distance, one almost beating him. Obviously Commey gots power, but thats all he gots here so all thats likely to get tested here is Easter's chin &/or his defensive capabilities.
Too many flaws in Robert's game. The champion has shown everybody that he's not a joke, he's a champ for a reason, Robert can't compete at that level with all these flaws man, power alone won't cut it for the young man, I didn't score the fight but it's razor close. Waiting for the decision.
