Comments Thread For: Carson Jones: Golovkin Will Put Kell Brook's Lights Out in Six!

One fighter who is very familiar with IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (36-0, 25KOs) - is tough contender Carson Jones. They fought twice, in 2012 and 2013. In the first meeting, Jones came very close to ending the unbeaten streak of Brook. He battered the undefeated fighter in the contest and barely lost a twelve round majority decision. There were some at ringside who even saw Jones as the winner.

Well this pretty much confirms that Brook is killing himself at 147. The fact that he went up 5 pounds and knocked the guy he arguably lost a decision to shows his power is taking a significant hit when cutting that weight. I hope Brook moves to 154 or 160 after the Golovkin fight.

Brook-Jones 1 was an action fight. Brook showed lots of heart in that fight but Jones walked through everything Brook threw and kept coming.
Brook also tired badly against a straight ahead, pressure fighter like Jones and barely made it through the final round.

Carson Jones is a salty sore loser.

Brook whooped yo ass once he wasn't drained in the rematch, had yo ass on the canvas and whipped the floor with you at 152.

At 160 Brook is gonna be even stronger.

You're right, wear and tear brings KO''s also. You brutalized someone enough, the body will break.
