Of he wins again, he's the A-side at 160 until someone dethrones him.
You mean he is baiting GBP to dare to make an offer. Could be, but I don`t think so. GGG is already a star himself and can make 2-3 mln against any opponent. Canelo interesting only as one of a truly lucrative option. No reason to fight Canelo, if you can`t make decent money out of the fight.

tell me - using big words - why you think he didn't ?
Much needed exposure? He is currently the most talked about fighter in boxing with all the canelo drama, and Andre Ward using his name to build back his public image.

Canelo needs GGG for damage control. Its better for Canelo's career to get KOed by GGG, and go back down to 155 then to be seen as the mexican coward forever. Mexicans wont back that ****, and mexicans are buying his PPV's...

Looks like GGG is pricing himself out. GGG is truly ******ed if he thinks 50-50 is in his future. Abel must've told him PPVs aee like golf and the lower the number, the better. GGG is walking around like "my 97k is the sheeeeit"

GGG can make more him being 60/40 against other middle champs. Fair would be Canelo 60/40. He is the bigger draw even though GGG ranked pfp way higher.
                  Canelo did 900k with Cotto
300k with Khan if you take the low number
2.5 mil with Floyd. How in the world does GGG and 97k deserve 60-40 and how in the world does he think he deserves 50-50?

Yes there is a reason. You gain more exposure and cross over into the mainstream and become a bigger PPV draw.

That's why Floyd accepted 20% of the purse and let De La Hoya have 80%.

Exactly. Floyd could of pulled a GGG and refused to humble himself. Said no to fighting at Oscar weight and for the purse Oscar gave him. Held out a year or 2 for nickles and a few pounds. Which looks dumb as phuk in retrospect because taking the fight gave him world wide exposure and made him the A side for every fight from then on where he could made the demands. Floyd is clearly a lot smarter then GGG. And GGG is old already he don't have time to waste years should play his B side role drop weight take the purse he's given and get the fight now.
