So Lara made $1 Million against Canelo, why isn't Lara fighting GGG for same money?

OK so what's the plan? It's obvious fighters want to be overpaid to fight him. Fighters can continue to fight around him and get paid just as much as K2 is offering. He's about to be 35. Will there come a point where they overpay for a fighter to get good name on his resume? Or is the plan to continue complaining?

      Thanks for the info.

Considering GGG is not a draw, according to his detractors here, then Lara should have significantly less here. That must follow by GGG detractor logic. Probably in the 600K region.

Now I would like to know how much Lara is demanding to face GGG so we can determine if he in essense is pricing himself out.

So. How much does he want?

if Lara can't no fight with the young lions, he should move up, I want him to fight Jacobs-, Murray (i saw a ggg stan say he'll knock out Lara lmaoo yes Murray is moving back down to 160lb)

Well then if K2 made no offer than all this talk is for nothing.
If this C sider is scoffing at Crawfords 1.3m purse, how.much you think would this one cost? When is the last time Sho paid that much in purses? How about for one of their least popular guys to get crushed by an overwhelming favorite from Hbo? Try using your brain for once, ****** fcuk?

Laras manager must have thought it was serious enough to be reaching for all those excuses

Don't need to guess, I clearly said Loeffler approached Haymon, no mention of any offer, a$$wipe

Tsk tsk. Why post something you well know is not true? All these guys are getting career high offers, all would be overpaid if they took it.

None of these guys will name their.price, too embarrassed. But in that video his manager was laughing at 1m (we make that for Delvin lol), scoffed at Crawford Postal purses (they need a better manager), capped it off with "Lara commands a lot of money, fight won't be easy to make'. There's your hungry challenger chasing after the big champ

Lara made $1 Million against Canelo (only Canelo himself got Upside of the PPV money)

                  http://www.espn.com/blog/dan-rafael/...ry-card-purses

Now Lara's manager comes out with the following statement:

Lara has been vocal about fighting the most feared middleweight in the world, IBO/WBA/IBF/WBC champion Gennady Golovkin. According to the manager, there might be a plan to move up to 160 but not just yet:

"Lara's the type of fighter that doesn't need to fight 3 fights to move up in weight," explained DeCubas, Jr. "When the gates open for 160 he'll move up whether its Golovkin or rematch with Canelo, Danny Jacobs, or Billy Saunders. There's a lot of big fights there but for now he's going to keep defending his title because he wants to break the record for the most title defenses"

So how much would a possible Golovkin-Lara fight cost and would it be in the budget of HBO?

"Showtime definitely has the budget but can Golovkin fight on Showtime? I'm not sure what the budget is on HBO. Lara commands a lot of money so I cant say the fight will be simple to make. We got to make more money than what he's made in the past for Golovkin."

Lara, in one of his latest fights fought Jan Zaveck at a Park Race Track in Florida and reportedly only sold 200 tickets for this fight, it's not like his fanbase got any bigger since losing to Canelo and fighting the likes of Zaveck, Ishe Smith, Delvin Rodriguez and winning a razor thin decision against Martirosyan.

Why doesn't Lara want to face GGG for the same money he got against Canelo?
you need to add one more option to your biased poll, "ggg will never offer lara 1 million"...

So what's the plan besides complaining? Brook is getting the same amount of money Saunders asked for. Saunders would've taken the fight for that amount of money. Maybe if this fight with Brook is a big success GGG should buy out his contract with K2 and go to a promoter who can pay to get the big fights he wants, like Matchroom. Canelo said he has no problem fighting in the UK. If GGG were with Hearn he'd put up enough money to bring him over. K2 isn't even in position to offer Canelo a fight.

Damn that's a lot of disingenuousness you packed in one post. Who is in a position to offer Canelo a fight, Floyd? Why would you bring up 4m for Saunders? You know full well it's not Gggs team payout that out. How much did BJ get for Eubank? And why would you worry about Gggs prospects when he's at the peak of his popularity and still gaining? Canelo in the UK lol. You know Canelo has said many things he wasnt serious about. And you know that ppv of that caliber make way more in the US
