Why aren't we getting Jacobs vs Lara instead of Jacobs vs Mora and Lara vs nobody?

Always hear about Lara/Golovkin (I like that fight), but the notion of Lara/Jacobs doesn't even exist and Jacobs has held his interim title 2 years now.

Don't hold your breath! Jacobs is already on the record to say that the money has to be right for such a "megafight!". That's right. Jacobs considers a fight between himself and GGG a "megafight!". He said so himself. He's already pricing himself out before negotiations or talks even begin.

Quillin has said the same in the past in regards to facing GGG.

I have never thought Canelo ducking GGG was any worse than Quillin, Martinez, Cotto, Saunders and Jacobs all refusing to fight their number 1 challenger for any reasonable amount of money.

So the GGG critics talk about how Canelo is the cashcow in the sport, the face of boxing and how many tickets he sells, how much money he makes etc.

Now Lara's manager comes out with the following statement:

Lara has been vocal about fighting the most feared middleweight in the world, IBO/WBA/IBF/WBC champion Gennady Golovkin. According to the manager, there might be a plan to move up to 160 but not just yet:

"Lara's the type of fighter that doesn't need to fight 3 fights to move up in weight," explained DeCubas, Jr. "When the gates open for 160 he'll move up whether its Golovkin or rematch with Canelo, Danny Jacobs, or Billy Saunders. There's a lot of big fights there but for now he's going to keep defending his title because he wants to break the record for the most title defenses"

So how much would a possible Golovkin-Lara fight cost and would it be in the budget of HBO?

"Showtime definitely has the budget but can Golovkin fight on Showtime? I'm not sure what the budget is on HBO. Lara commands a lot of money so I cant say the fight will be simple to make. We got to make more money than what he's made in the past for Golovkin."

Lara, in one of his latest fights fought Jan Zaveck at a Park Race Track in Florida and reportedly only sold 200 tickets for this fight, it's not like his fanbase got any bigger since losing to Canelo and fighting the likes of Zaveck, Ishe Smith, Delvin Rodriguez and winning a razor thin decision against Martirosyan.

Why doesn't Lara want to face GGG for the same money he got against Canelo?

It's not that, it's that the guy went on twitter calling out Ggg over and over, but never even talked to these guys to try to make it happen. And now when there's some interest on the other side, out come excuses supported by lies

Andrade ducked Lara, one of the Charlo twins has the same trainer, Quillin said he'll never fight Lara because their Cuban brothers, Williams doesn't want it with Lara at the moment, it seems like both Lara and Jacobs have no intentions of fighting each other.

Nobody at 160 can stand up to GGG and their is a clamour for a chinny 154 fighter ? I don't buy into this. When no can stand up to his power at 160 I'd have thought the logical next step would be 168 not 154 fighters at 160.......
