I think they both compliment each other on this PPV. We wouldn't buy this fight if it was GGG who happens to be the opponent of Brook, And vice versa. GGG can really sell himself over here if his team are smart.

Why is this matter important to a boxing fan?

Ask yourself that the next time you and the other Golovkin fans bring up viewing figures as a reason for not fighting other fighters. Nuthuggers are already trying to claim Golovkin sold out the o2 and some claiming the PPV buys. We all know this is going to lead to idiots like you bringing up these numbers to justify him avoiding fights.

Obviously Golovkin. How else would brook be making so much money when they simply crossed eubanks' name off the contract and replaced it with his?

Did brook's previous fights in his home country sell out the O2 in 11 minutes? Golovkin is the common denominator here.

The market in the uk is great for big fights right now. If Jacobs says there isn't enough money in NY to pay him for a GGG fight, they should bring it to the uk if he wants 3 million or whatever. See if he really wants it.

When have Golovkin's pay demands ever scuppered a fight.

Here are a few facts for you

Last time Eubank fought, he made 50k and was offered 3 million + for this fight and still didnt sign

Jacobs is making 500k for fighting Mora and wont fight GGG for 1.5 million

Lara made 1 million in his fight with Canelo and wants multiples of that to fight GGG

Saunders made less than 1 million in his fight with Lee and wants multiples of that to fight GGG

The biggest fight in boxing is GGG-Canelo and the latter is fighting Liam ****ing Smith

The worst thing about this site is that trolls such as yourself are thick as **** and couldnt mount a decent argument if their lives depended upon it

See this is the ******ed shit right here. They think because Golovkin vs a Brit (the reason it's PPV) sells that Golovkin will be a draw without a Brit in the UK.

Interest in each fight in the UK for the last 12 months:

Golovkin has a higher average, but his peak (vs. Lemieux) is slightly lower than Brook's last fight in March. Looks to be about 85-100 split. I'd say slight advantage goes to Brook.

And here's interest in each of them worldwide for the same time frame:

With Golovkin being the clearly much, much more popular. It looks that worldwide, Golovkin's 'idle' popularity is about the same as the attention that Brook gets during his fight (looking at worldwide March data, when Brook fought).

Taking an analytical look at both graphs, I'd say that Golovkin is clearly the A-Side in this fight. While Brook is slightly more popular in the UK, Golovkin's worldwide appeal does more than enough to bridge the gap.

They're all playing risk reward just like Golovkin.

Asking who's the biggest draw in the UK is kind of silly don't you think? Seeing as one guy is a local guy and one never fought there before.

That's like asking if Andre Ward is a bigger draw in Oakland then Danny Jacobs...

And honestly, GGG seems to be a draw regardless of where he's fighting. He's now sold out east and west coast of US and a fight in The UK. That's pretty impressive and only a few fighters could possibly accomplish that.

                      BS

The management of GGG's opponents are ****ting themselves and are hoping he declines with age so waiting it out

They all know that their demands are not commercially viable but at least BJS has the balls to say so
