Why is DeGale - Jack taking so long - you know?

I don't think it has anything to do with Jack and TMT's side. Interview with Floyd said they are still trying to work on it to be held overseas somewhere. He was hesitant to say if he actually thought the fight would come off by the end of the year, which leads me to believe it probably won't happen.

Because Eddie Hearn knows Degale has a great chance of losing. He has been against this fight since the begging. He rather takes his chance having Callum Smith winning the belt therefore he can cut the middle man out and make Smith -Degale.

I bet you haven't watched a single fight of his? He's one of the best 'champions in waiting/top prospects' of the bigger divisions IMO Beterbiev & Usyk & maybe Derevyanchenko are the only ones i rate higher..

Smith had his way with & dropped Christopher Rebrassé which is something Groves couldn't do! Destroyed Hadillah Mohoumadi in 1 round! Degale went the full 12! Nikola Sjekloća was handled every bit as easy if not more so than when he fought both Abraham & Bika. These things matter & give us an idea on his level.. He's the only man to stop Patrick Mendy too! N'dam, Chudinov & Patrick Nielsen couldn't! Don't confuse this man with the Darren Barkers or Nathan Cleverleys of the world. There is a buzz about him in the UK & for good reason! Yes every prospect should be approached with an air of caution but dismissing him right off the bat is a bit dumb! I have an instinct about prospects & generally i get it right.. For instance i never rated the Chudinov brothers but was shouting Golovkin & Kovalev from the rooftops years ago! If Smith doesn't win at least one world title I'll be surprised...

Wrong. Hype is when you're hyped, Smith has created his own hype by his own exploits against an higher level of opposition than your average joe. Chavez Jr. was clearly hype as was Seth Mitchell and Arreola amongst many notorious others. Smith has blasted and torn through guys he wasn't meant to, that's called show casing you're special.

Aren't you the guy who disappeared after PAC was schooled by Floyd for like a year ? The admin on this site actually contacted the police concerned. From memory, DeGale has 1 UK fight left in his agreement with Hearn and I dont think the latter wants to waste it on Jack

If I were Hearn, I'd be cosying up to K2, become GGG's UK promoter and make a GGG-DeGale fight (assuming they both keep winning of course)

That thing would make Groves-Froch look like an undercard bout in terms of revenue

Has Badou Jack signed up with the WBC's year-round VADA testing program yet? He wasn't on their previous list of champions who've signed up and they've given everyone a Sept 9th deadline or be stripped.
