No he's not and you don't know boxing if you think that describes Liam Smith. Smith is taking this fight because he wants to be great, Canelo is taking this fight because he didn't have the balls to defend the MW title against GGG. Smith is sparring the WW champ in Kell Brook who has beaten the same opponents as Canelo more impressively and his Brother Callum who is the most feared SMW on the planet, who is Canelo sparring?

Can't wait to hear your excuses after Beefy beats down your hero.
Well how does he beat Canelo though? Your response was nothing but emotions. Smith is a decent fighter but he does nothing better than Canelo and holds no significant physical advantage over him either.

His come forward style also plays right into his hands. I'm not that impressed with his high-guard defense and the fact that he waits for his opponent to stop throwing before he let's his hands go. The hand speed is going to be a major factor in this fight as well as Canelo's ability to counter. Both guys preferr to set their feet when punching , so you have to favor the bigger more precise puncher. Objectively looking at both fighters, Canelo is the heavg favorite. I'd love to hear your argument from a tactical view as far as how you're so confident in "beefy".

Also how has Kell Brook beat similar opponents as Canelo? That statement is just absurd. His best win was Brook a guy who doesn't belong in the same category as Canelo's best wins. Discrediting them because they were competiive doesn't justify your statement.

Have zero interest in this fight. Actually this might be the least interest I've had for a PPV with a current top guy ever. I hope the 24/7 is just people talking about Liam Smith as if he's lost already...like even Liam & all the cats on his team & who are down for him. That would make it more compelling viewing for me. See Liam discuss being KTFO before he's KTFO. Surreal type **** like that.

Who are you gonna stan over after Canelo loses again?

By being a better boxer? Look I really rate Canelo. Think he is amazing to watch. But if he can't plow through Smith he is gonna be outworked and outboxed. You act like Canelo is some Elite destroyer. He didn't destroy Cotto, Lara, Trout or Floyd. He only destroyed Khan and Kirkland...two guys known to have bad chins.

I am impressed by his high guard and how little he gets hits operating out of it. Also impressed by how much offense he can get off behind it and how complete his punch selection is. He is also a great body puncher.

I expect to play out a little like Cotto-Marg 1 but with Smith catching and countering more before breaking Canelo down.

I didn't say similar I said the SAME. Both fought Hatton and N'dou. Kell looking better both times.

When did I say he was an elite destroyer? You mentioned all those guys he didn't destroy, he beat them while showimg tremendous boxing ability against very solid boxers. It's also hard to really rate his boxing ability when he hasn't fought anyone near elite. Very good left hand and works the body really well buy he rarely used a jab to set anything up and rarely did I see him countering his opponents if at all.

Referencing the Cotto/Margarito fight suggest you don't really see Smith as a better boxer than Alvarez. IMO that's his best shot at beating him as you say, winning a battle of attrition but definitely not outboxing him.
