I mean yea I think Stiverne would be a much more fun opponent potentially, but Pulev is a great first test into world class fighters for Joshua cuz lets be straight up Joshua has fought guys coming to lose mostly & some decent to good prospects more recently at best. Pulev has been a high level guy for awhile & is easily Joshua's biggest fight, but for sure is a completely winnable fight for Joshua.

Joshua is active + is still easing into his champion role I think Pulev is a fine pick for his next fight. And I like how Hearn & Joshua are moving things along. Not too fast, not too slow.

I think Joshua has the tools to be the future of the division. I was just saying pulev has great stamina which is rare in the heavyweight division and he could be tested late if it gets there. Pulev is much more polished than Whyte or brazeale.

Of course I understand your comment and pulev is far more polished but he's also a small heavyweight compared with the Giants of today and I doubt very much pulev will be able to keep a charging Joshua away from him and be able to sustain the kind of punishment what Joshua is gonna unload on him ......I think it's good test for Joshua to show just how good he can be....we will see if it happens :-)

It's a great test. They are moving him along nicely. Each fight a step up. By the time he gets to the best he'll be ready. Unlike how an unnamed American was brought along.
