Anyways if these guys beat Canelo easily why dont they move up to 160, get ranked by one of GGG's sanctioning belts and become a mandatory? GGG loves his mandatory and smaller fighters so it makes lots of sense... Can someone please explain?

I don't know how those fights would turn out. I just had 115-113 Lara. But the range of reasonable scores was 115-113 either way, IMO.

Those "smaller" fighters you talk about have more height, more reach, and weight the same than GGG on fight night. Even now they are bigger. At 160, even more bigger than GGG. Just telling you FACTS. (Except Lara, of course)
