I tend to stay away from saying a fighter ducked, that gets thrown around far too much. The only real duck I've seen fairly recent, was Maidana pulling out an agreement to fight Thurman after he and his team saw video of Thurman. Duva toed the line with her entire behind the back secret meeting with WBC to make Kovalev Stevenson's Mandatory, after she saw Haymon force Quillen to drop the title after losing a purse bid to Rocnation. Then she pulled out of the bid after she realized Haymon was all in and HBO wasn't, like I said, not really a duck, more like bad business. Arum comes out with "duck" worthy stuff on a weekly basis it seems like. Mayweather/Pac saga, current GGG/Ward saga, I don't really view much of those as pure ducks. Having said that I would say that Canelo is toeing the line. The only real thing to me, that smells like a "duck" is for the last few years and oponents, Canelo refused to come in at 154, lest we forget he deliberately fought Lara 1 pound over saying he'd rather fight comfortable than lose 1 more pound for a lineal title. In early negotiations with Cotto, Canelo asked for a 157 lbs catch weight. He said he didn't need to fight at 154 for a title because he was comfortable at 155, yet when GGG came in the picture it seems like he ran back to 154. Like I said I try to stay away from saying a fighter ducked, but what I would say about Canelo, is he's avoiding GGG and really don't see how anyone can argue that.

Canelo, your body will NEVER be ready as long as Golovkin is patrolling the MW division, which we can safely say will be at least 2 yrs.

        ''when his body is ready......''

wtf does that mean ? maybe it was misinterpreted. i dont take him to be scared of anyone. i think he wants to make as much money as possible and perhaps not liking what hes hearing from 3gs side.

I'll let you know if you're right after his fight with GGG. You're very wrong if you think I'll spend money on the Smith fight, GGG is a possibility.
