So a cab driver beat Guerrero, what does that say about Thurman and DSGs best win?

But he got a Maytweather fight doe. Are you now saying that TBE didnt fight the Best Robert Guerrero?? Its funny now that a cabbie beats Guerrero hes a bum...

Yup, he beat Guerrero more convincingly than DSG and fought harder after the KD than Thurman did.

I respect your answer. Im surprised I didnt hear it sooner.

Ive heard a lot of excuses, now all of a sudden Karass, Diego Chavez, Luis Collazo, PEDerson, etc beat Guerrero but I guess Guerrero was good enough to fight TBE but he loses to cab driver and hes far down the list of best wins. But I do respect your timing reference.

I'm not a Floyd fan, but nice assumption.

I think it's fair to say around the time he fought Katsidis he looked the best i'd seen him, that was 2 years before the Floyd fight. i said he looked his best at Lightweight.

He still looked good around the time he fought Berto before the Floyd fight yes. Berto isn't great but he's much better than the guys Guerrero is struggling with now.

I don't think he was a worthy opponent for Floyd even though he was a mandatory but that's not an excuse for Floyd to fight him, when did he ever care about Mando's? I don't really consider it a good win, but that Guerrero was much better than the one now, nobody can say otherwise.

He's had too many rough fights. I'm not sure why he even changed his style, he used to be a good boxer at lightweight but bizarrely seemed to turn into a brawler when he moved up in weight.

Thurman beat the hell out of Guerrero at a time when Guerrero was still fighting reasonably well. I think the thrashing Thurman gave Guerrero helped to send Guerrero into a down hill path. Guerrero has been looking worse and worse in every fight since Thurman and he is pretty much washed up now. He wasn't washed up when Thurman beat him. Whoever said that Guerrero was the best win of both Garcia's and Thurman's careers must be pretty ****** on boxing matters. Thurman's best win is his win over Porter. Garcia's best win is his win over Matthysse. Their wins over Guerrero aren't even close to their best career wins.

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? I don't give a damn if Sugar Ray Leonard fought Guerrero, Guerrero has always been an average WW at best. He's declined since he fought Mayweather and Thurman but even before then he was never really that good at WW.
When Floyd fought Guerrero he had momentum coming off that Berto win and he was WBC mandatory, and I'm 100% sure Floyd knew it would be an easy fight for him stylistically. It was a smart fight business wise but that fight did little to nothing for Floyd's legacy.
