The best piece of info is that Sampson discovered this guy after he picked him up at the airport in Argentina with a cab.

good for this guy. I cringed at his dance tho.

I feel like Guerrero should've never skipped 140, but he got himself some nice paydays.

I do not quite understand the fixation with him being a cab driver. The guy certainly knows how to fight. The fact that he is a cab driver should not detract from that.

He could be a Harvard grad for all i care. He can fight. And losing a fight to an "unknown" who exceeded all expectation is no shame.

For my money, this is what keeps bringing me back to boxing. The upsets! That the judges can actually have the courage to pick the correct winner and not be swayed by anything else.

I am pretty sure there are many other unknown fighters around the world eeking out a living doing other things while waiting for an opportunity such as this one to become known and start making enough to be able to concentrate full time to fighting.

Fact of the matter is until you start making big purses , most fighters have to sustain themselves financially by other means.

Good fight. Good win for Peralta. Tough loss for Robert in a very good fight. He is still not an easy fight for most in the WW division.

I wish him the best if he decides to continue fighting.
