Look at what is going on, they're basically WAITING for Canelo and hoping that he picks GGG next because that is the ONLY WAY they will be able to get GGG a big payday. If Canelo doesn't move up next and fight him next, what other big fight is available for GGG at the moment?

I don't just blame the others fighters for being Terrified part of that is the problem, but on the others side yes I do think Loeffler is responsible. If GGG was with Arum or GBP or Haymon or whoever, I do think things would be A LOT DIFFERENT just because of the connections.

Politics does play a major role in boxing for Promoters and yes if you're not with one of the bigger promotions no question it can hold your career back from getting to that ELITE LEVEL as far as Crossover Super Stardom Goes.

Honestly, only Arum know how to build up Superstars currently in boxing IMO
Aaah, you have obviously overlooked the fact that GGG will earn in the vicinity of $5 million for fighting Brook and could potentially get the same for Eubank & DeGale

What's more, K2 has taken GGG from being a virtually unknown to earning those figures in 5 short years

They have actually done a pretty good job with him

When Hearn came to him and told him Eubank Sr was being difficult and offered Brook, Loeffler took the fight instead of telling Hearn to continue negotiations or going elsewhere to make a fight. Loeffler didn't care about how it would look to the public. As long as it was easy to make. He even brags about how easy the fight was to make with Brook. He just wants to fight.

Golovkin's promoter is actually very smart. Why would he put Golovkin in the ring against someone like Ward, who would beat him, when HBO will pay Golovkin just as much money to fight a blown-up welterweight who stands little or no chance? You are right. Golovkin will fight anyone. That is why he has a manager and promoter controlling his career -- because if he didn't, Golovkin would have been exposed and his career would be about where Chad Dawson's is right now.

You didn't prove anything, in fact you're making my point for me because GGG has to TRAVEL for that kind of purse which is likely put up by Eddie Hearn the same Eddie Hearn along with Matchroom who put up big money for Charles Martin to travel to the UK so that Joshua can fight for a Title

Sure K2 has done the best that they could with Promoting GGG but against they're limited and don't have the Power like the bigger promotions so because of that GGG has to travel to the UK for Kell Brook because Eddie Hearn has the money to get that fight done

If he would have fought Ward, he would have gotten the notoriety and then been small enough at 168 to get a lot of bigger names on his resume. That seems to be the only way for folks to get fights up and down the division. That or they pay 10+ mill i.e. Canelo/Khan.

Says the guy who has Spence (who has beaten nobody) as his avatar. Let's face it, if GGG was black, you'd love him.

Or maybe because the fight would be bigger in the UK? maybe because the UK fans are crazy about the fight? it's happening in the right place. Not everything is the US my friend.

                  Bytches running away from ggg..

                  Sturm
                  Cotto
                  Serg
                  Canelo
                  Eubanks
                  Saunders

                  All ran away..

No one can complain about ggg.. Dude willing to fight everyone at 160.. Idiots will say Ward, but dude hasn't made 168 in years and is now at 175 locked into a big Kovolev fight.. Canelo going to fight Liam.... Lmao

I could see people dodging ggg a few years ago when he wasn't a draw, but he has been on hbo for about 5 years, sells out on both coasts, most deserving guy for a mega fight at 160, is Canelo's biggest payday and one half of the most lucrative fight in boxing, but still can't get a fight... Exact reason why boxing is dead in America

I don't necessarily think his promoter is to blame. The fight with Canelo is being delayed intentionally by Dela Hoya. That's a big money fight where Golovkin is a sizable favorite and is likely to give Canelo a bad loss that will be hard to recover his star power if he did indeed get stopped.

All the other guys at MW and Jr.MW for the most part are asking for money that they know can't be guaranteed. They want to be paid millions when they aren't even a big draw. Mayweather & Pacquiao would pay most of their opponents that weren't big names around 2-5 million and those were on big PPV cards. Golovkins opponents are going to be able to get paid that much unless that have a couple of belts or they have a large enough fan base that they know will buy enough tickets to fill an arena to max capacity.

As far as Andre Ward in general. I don't think Golovkin beats him but if he did somehow get a victory over Ward than it's almost a certainty that it would be even harder for him to get opponents locked in to fight him. He would be deemed too good for his own sake kind of like what happened to Rigondeaux at 122. The only people willing to fight him are people in the weight class above him who will have a ridiculous size advantage over him.

GGG is arguably the most financially successful "foreign fighter" (i.e. non US/Mexican) to fight mainly in the US apart from Lennox and Pac in recent memory and both of those guys had a considerable advantage to start with

They have done a great job with him from a financial perspective
