I don't get where people found his image to be "goofy" I mean how do you judge a guy you can't even understand? He speaks in very limited broken english. He smiles and says "good boy" and people interpreted that entirely different than what he meant. Unless you jump to conclusions, you can't pretend to understand everything he means. I think he tries to answer American media in a kindly approach, but that's because he would sound far more ridiculous trying to elaborate himself in English.
