Who has more skills, Kovalev or Golovkin?

I think Golovkin is better at pretty much everything, better jab, counter-punching, ring IQ, defence etc. He's also a lot more sturdy imo, I don't think Kovalev is particularly durable.
Offensively, Golovkin knows how to apply real pressure, cut the ring off, also he mixes his punches up a lot more, whereas Kova is more textbook.
Defensively, Golovkin slips, catches and counters, Kovalev's defence is a lot more basic.
I rate Kovalev very highly, but I consider Golovkin to be clearly superior.Comment

Golovkin has better punch variety, better defence from straight punches, better chin. Kovalev is lighter on his feet, he is more relaxed, he better throws combinations and better defends from combinations.Comment

You want a choice so badly then I choose GGG as the better fighter between these two excellent fighters. GGG has never been knocked down and he has never come close to losing a fight. He has never lost more than two rounds of any fight. He loses even few rounds per fight than Mayweather did.Comment

Not sure when exactly it was, I believe after the Pascal2 fight, or sometimes thereabout, Kovalev himself said that Golovkin has more skills, more ways to beat you. (I think they were talking about Ward). So I'll take Kovalevs word for it and say Golovkin

Or we can take Darnell Boones word for it
