    Erislandy Lara's resume

When you think about it, Erislandy Lara should really be high up on the P4P lists, if one looks past the controversies of his career. Let's examine his best wins.

    1: Austin Trout
Trout is the man who conquered both Cotto and Canelo, a solid and skilled fighter with fast hands. This was a very respectable win.

    2: Saul Alvarez
He's extremely heavy and punches very hard compared to his opponents. It's respectable for any guy at 154 and below to beat Canelo.

    3: Paul Williams
Lara dominated Paul Williams. While Williams was no longer the same, after his two fights against Martinez, he was still a solid win who proved that he still had something left.

    4: Vanes Martirosyan
Martirosyan is not a bad fighter. It was an okay win.

How would you rank Lara's best wins?

he is incredibly overrated on this site, should be nowhere near a P4P top 10 list

IF he won those fights he would be. The problem is he didn't. Don't forget he also went to a draw with Carlos Molina which is kinda embarrassing.

He's actually very underrated i this board mainly due to the fact that his style is not the most fan friendliest style.

Imo Lara beats most 154lbers and a lotta 169lbers as well.

He didn't win the decisions, but he certainly won the fights. Which you would know if you studied them. He was outboxing his opponents.

Yes, he needs to have won the Canelo and Paul Williams fights to be higher on the P4P list. a few draws too. . . .

I can see a case for Lara beating Canelo, and being hard done by on the score cards, but that's the record now unfortunately we have to adhere by when contemplating this resume.

He might be lower in the 10 p4p but i'd say he's top 15-20.

Judges arent impressed with his tag and run style of boxing and neither am i
Look how Canelo struggled against Angulo, who Lara had just destroyed completely, lol.
